In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, The State Financial and Administrative Control Authority, organized yesterday (Tuesday) morning, an awareness meeting titled "National Roles and Institutional Partnership in Protecting Public Funds and Promoting Integrity", in the presence of the Director-General of the Directorate-General of Supervision of Service Units, the Director of the Department of Supervision of the Education Sector in the Authority, and members of the examination team at the Ministry of Education. The meeting targeted employees of the Ministry's General Diwan, and the Educational Directorates in the governorate, and took place in Khasab Hall.

The meeting began with a visual presentation introducing the State Financial and Administrative Control Authority, its organizational structure, tasks, specializations, and its partnership with society. This was followed by the first paper titled “National Roles of the State Financial and Administrative Control Authority” presented by Abdullah Al Saidi, Director of the Legal Studies Department. The paper included two main topics, “introduction of the Authority and its work" which dealt with the historical developments of its work, the "five hundred and ninety" bodies under its supervision, main and subsidiary bodies, monitoring work tools, the Authority's procedures when discovering observations and violations, classification of cases of violations, and review of financial legislation, relations, and international cooperation in the field of organizations. The second topic, "Promoting Integrity and Anti-Corruption", dealt with the United Nations Organization Agreement and organizational aspects, the process after the agreement, the code of professional conduct, and the media and awareness plan such as programs and seminars.

Faisal Al-Hasani, Director of the Legal Affairs Department, presented the second paper entitled "Protection of Public Funds and Government Official's Obligations." The paper touched on the concepts related to the law, the government official’s prohibitions, obligations, and some cases of violating the law on protecting public funds and avoiding conflicts of interest.
